Turkish Konafa with cheese recipe |
INGREDIENTS :
1/2 kilo konafa
1/2 kilo mozzarella cheese or cheese without salt
2 cups of melted ghee
6 cups of sorbet
pistachio for garnish
Method:
In the food processor, put the kunafa or cut small pieces, then melt the fat on the fire, then pour it on the kunafa and rub it well, in a tray we grease it with ghee, then put a layer of kunafa with a thickness of 1 cm and press it, then add the cheese slices on top of the kunafa and add the last layer and put the last layer of Konafa and on a low heat for 7 minutes while constantly rotating the tray
Then we turn the kunafa to the other side until the kunafa is browned on all sides and leave it on a low heat until redness.
Then we pour the heavy sherbet on it, sprinkle the pistachios on top, leave to cool, then cut it into small pieces.
